After a two-year break of no flying, the Dubai based airline air service, the FlyDubai resumed its weekly services to the Maldives from 27 October onwards, giving global trotters from Dubai more access to the holiday destinations of the Maldives.

The airline officials have confirmed that it will operate flights four times a week to Velana International Airport in the capital city, Male'. This reinstating of this once-ceased FlyDubai is deemed to be the result of the fame of the Maldives as the leading Indian Ocean destination for luxury lovers and the low-cost service of the FlyDubai. Out of all the holiday destinations around the world, the Maldives is one the first few to open its airline boundaries for flights from any country and welcome tourists of all the nationalities earlier this summer for year-end celebrations like Christmas and New Year. No wonder FlyDubai again chose this route with great enthusiasm.

FlyDubai airline had previously flown its air shuttles to the Maldives during 2013 and 2018. With this new commencement, passengers can expect more packages at affordable prices from the airline. Now, with this new route to the archipelago, the airline boasts of a wide service to over 40 destinations across Central Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and India.

FlyDubai's New Schedule To The Maldives!

Flydubai flight is now all set to manage service four times a week to Male’ on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Flight FZ 1569 departs from Terminal Three, Dubai International (DXB) at 10:35 AM, and the return flight FZ 1570 is scheduled to depart from Velana International Airport at 11:30 PM (local time).

With greater convenience, both economy and business-class fares are available now. As for the ticket price, a one-way flight to Male' from Dubai International in economy class shall cost you from Dh 1,595. Also, it shall only take you less than five hours to reach.

In effect, Maldives lovers from Dubai now can make use of these four weekly flights from FlyDubai and six weekly flights from Emirates to get to the Maldives. Thus the arrival rate of tourists from the Middle East is expected to be high this summer and afterward.
