With this auspicious ceremony being just around the corner, less than 100 days to go, the strong presence and the prestigious nominations at the 27th World Travel Awards shall be a great boosting to the re-opening of the tourism of the Maldives that is all set to open its borders on 15th July 2020.

About 27th World Travel Awards™ 2020

It is the annual meet of unmatched networking experience of leading figureheads from the tourism and hospitality industry of the collective region for Africa and Indian Ocean. This yearly Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony is the region's premier top-level event of the year.

This award establishment has various other regional ceremonies to take place on different dates. At the Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony where the Maldives belongs to, there are nearly 100 prestigious award categories to recognize the excellence of best brands and products from the assigned region.

As for the nomination process, the winner and two runners-up from the previous year will requalify for the same award without having to submit an entry. Entries shall be checked and vetted to assure the quality and qualification.
